There isn’t just one way to build a successful Facebook Ad. But I’ve found a quote by a gentleman called Wyatt Woodsmall which sums up perfectly how to create the perfect Facebook Ad.
The amazing thing is Wyatt is not a Facebook marketer, but he knows people.
Here is the quote…
When you can articulate another persons problem better than they can they automatically and unconsciously credit you with knowing the solution.
Wyatt Woodsmall
This quote should be used as the template to create all your Facebook Ads.
When your Facebook Ad can describe your prospect’s problem better than they can, they will automatically and unconsciously credit your business with having the solution and click on the ad to find out more.
Your ad headline, description and image should all describe the pain your client is experiencing.
Wyatt understands that people are more motivated to remove pain than they are to gain pleasure.
For example, everyone knows that you should exercise and eat healthy if you want to live a long life, but so few people do. But those same people, if they have a pain in their chest will speed to the doctor to find out what is happening. People will do much more to remove a pain than to gain pleasure.
Facebook Ads which describe a prospect’s pain point and offer a potential solution will alway be successful if shown to prospects with that pain point.
The trick is to target people on Facebook who have the pain with the perfect offer to help them solve the pain.
So next time you are about to write a new Facebook Ad, think about Wyatt’s quote and use it as the template to write a compelling ad.
Let me know in the comments if you focus on pain points in your Facebook Ads? If not, let me know how you write your Facebook Ads.
